(21/01/2013) Spectrum

Red fuels rage and anger
But also love and lust
It is something we all have
But use only if we must.
Blue gives us our logic
But can also make us cold
Many like to live with it
Many aren’t so bold.
Yellow fuels our optimism
And gives us self-esteem
Too few people in this world
Are in touch with it, it seems.
Green is a sense of balance
Awareness and restoration
It can also make us tasteless
A sense of enervation.
Violet means awareness
And providing sense of truth
A luxury taken for granted
By the generation’s youth.
But the colors of the spectrum
Must always work as one
Or the binding threads of life
Will quickly come undone.

You are very strong in this type of poetry< (maybe all poetry for all i know, but this is the type I have read and seen). I like it very much.
